My name is Katie, and I’m the author of Cozy Corners in Our Universe. It’s been a long journey to get here, and you can read all about that here.

This page, however, is about me. So here are some answers to “get to know you” questions.

How old are you?

Do you have any siblings?

I have two half-siblings on my dad’s side. A half-sister named Clare and a half-brother named Chris. However, they are over twenty years older than me, so I was pretty much raised as an only child.

Do you have any pets?

What are your hobbies other than traveling?

I love watching movies, binge-watching tv, sewing, and crafting! Basically, anything that helps recharge my social battery.

Do you collect anything?

I collect smushed pennies from places I visit. I’ve collected over two books of them so far!

What are my top bucket list items?

I want to go to Australia, New Zealand, and Scotland. As well as see the northern lights!

Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled to?

What is your guilty pleasure?

Shopping at Dollar Tree and getting Papa John’s pizza. What can I say? I love them!

Why did you start solo traveling?

I am in a time of my life where my friends don’t have the time and/or resources to travel like I can, and I didn’t want to wait because I didn’t have someone to go with. I’ve also been trying to get out of my comfort zone by doing everyday things on my own. This has all led me to become a more confident person and solo traveler!
